「We Are The Night/The Chemical Brothers」を聴いた

  2005年にReleaseされた「Push The Button」以来、ひさびさに聴いたThe Chemical BrothersのNew Album「We Are The Night」(2007/Album)について。
  ともかく気に入った曲をPick Up。2曲目「We Are The Night」。 まさにケミカルに求めてるキラキラしたTitle Tune。で、3曲目「All Rights Reversed」。Klaxonsとのコラボ。Energy溢れた佳曲。 4曲目「Saturate」。なんか落ち着いた高揚感とAcid感。まさにRockin' onで書いてあった"禅"って言葉、この曲にぴったりかと。自分的には、このAlbumのBest Tune。7曲目「The Salmon Dance」。なんかユーモア溢れたミニマム感。魚に躍らせたPromo Video、いい感じだった。9曲目「A Modern Midnight Conversation」。正直懐かしめなDisco Music。
  で、まさにNew RaveなどDance Music隆盛の年。KlaxonsのAlbum"Myths Of The Near Future"もよかったけど、さすが大御所ケミカルという感じ。 これからも僕たちを高揚させてくれるBandでありますように。
