「Last Night/Moby」を聴いた

  ひさびさに聴いたMobyの新作「Last Night」 (2008/Album)について。
  前作のAlbum「Hotel」は私小説のような上品なAmbient Musicだったけど、 今回のAlbumは完全なモロDisco Album。思いっきりCheapだけど狙ったDance Musicに溢れてる(ただ、 M-11以降はAmbientでChill Outな曲だけど...)。
  好きな曲は、M-01「oo yeah」、M-02「everyday its 1989」、M-03「live for tomorrow」、M-04「i love to move in here」、M-08「i'm in love」、M-09 「disco lies」、M-13「mothers of night」あたり。特にまさに自分が思いっきり遊んでた時代の音な 「everyday its 1989」と「live for tomorrow」と「disco lies」、そして、 70年代の大袈裟でSoulfulなVocalが最高な「i love to move in here」。最高でした。
  ともかくMelowな音は残したままでのMobyらしいDance Music。ほんと最近のヘビロテだったAlbum。
