「...There And Then/Oasis」を観た

border="0" />  いよいよ来週に迫った "http://www.myspace.com/oasis">OasisのJapan Tour。で、
たぶん3回目くらいなんだけど、「...There And Then/Oasis」(1996/DVD)を観た。

  これ、3rd Album「Be Here Now」Release前の1995年のEarls
Court,Londonと1996年のMaine Road,Manchesterの2つの会場でのLiveが収録されている。
Single Hits連発なんだけど、2nd「(What's The Story)Morning Glory?」からのM-05
「Hello」とM-12「Cast No Shadow」は自分的に大絶賛。それにしても、
特に地元ManchesterでのLiveでの大合唱は鳥肌が立つ。CoverとしてのM-17「I Am The Walrus」
とM-18「Cum On Feel The Noize」もhumourousでかつ破壊力ありで、原曲を凌ぐほど。
でもなんだかんだ言っても、M-16「Live Forever」が、このDVDのダントツのHigh-Light。
RockやSoulな偉人のPortraitの前でこの曲が演奏されるんだけど、最後にJohn
Lennonの写真が出たときのNoelとLiamの2人が客席に背を向けて、Lennonの写真を見ながら、
演奏するSceneは何度観ても感動する。というわけで、今での伝説になってるこのLive。俄然盛り上がってきた。
