「Queen at Wembley/Queen」を観た

　結局意地を張って映画館に行かなかったQueenの伝記映画「Bohemian Rhapsody/ボヘミアン･ラプソディ」(2018)。そんな中、WOWOWで「Queen at Wembley」(1990/DVD)が、「クイーン ライブ･アット･ウェンブリー･スタジアム 1986」として放送されたんで、ともかく観てみた。
　これ、1986.7.12にLondonのWembley Stadiumで収録され、2日間で15万人規模を集めたLive映像。冒頭にステージの設営から観客の入場、オープニングまで早送りで入ってる。巨大ステージが完成するまでの流れは面白い。そしてLiveが始まれば、ひたすらFreddieの自己愛に満ちたステージングを観るだけ。ここがどうしても...。
　で、よかったのは、「Tie Your Mother Down」、Freddieの最初のPianoがいい「Seven Seas of Rhye」、スタジアムに立ち上がるバルーン人形がいい「A Kind of Magic」、イントロでちょっと鳥肌立った「Under Pressure」、ブギーな曲の「Another One Bites the Dust」、シンガロングの「I Want to Break Free」、これも大観衆のシンガロングが起きた「Bohemian Rhapsody」、「Hammer to Fall」、定番Rock'n Rollの「Crazy Little Thing Called Love」、まったりな「Radio Ga Ga」、このドラムのリズムがRockの定番な「We Will Rock You」、そしてなんだかんだで名曲の「We Are the Champions」あたり。
　仕事でもからみつつあるので、観念して映画「Bohemian Rhapsody/ボヘミアン･ラプソディ」を観るか...。
