「Darkness on the Edge of Town Paramount Theatre,Asbury Park/Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band」を観た

　Bruce Springsteenの「Darkness on the Edge of Town Paramount Theatre,Asbury Park」(2010/DVD)について。

　これ、WOWOWで「ブルース･スプリングスティーン～闇に吠える街 30周年記念ライブ 2009」として放送されたもので、2009年12月13日にAsbury ParkのParamount Theatreで収録されたもの。4th Album「Darkness on the Edge of Town/闇に吠える街」の再現Liveで、何十年も時が経って、音が厚く力強く繊細になっているけど、もともとの曲の素晴らしさは色あせず伝わってきた。

　特によかったのは、力強いBEATの「Badlands」、野太いメロの「Adam Raised a Cain」、ぶ厚くて疾走感がある「Candy's Room」、メロが輝いている「Racing in the Street」、ハーモニカの演奏だけで気持ちがあがる「The Promised Land」、豊かな起伏の「Street of Fire」、Liveで思いっきり歌いたい「Prove It All Night」、そして壮大で色あせない「Darkness on the Edge of Town」。またいつか観よう。
